FRIDAY NOVEMBER 29 20 PM - 03 AM
MIP STUDIO SESSION #4: Transformation + TRAIL PARTY!

MIP closes the year with the fourth event of 2024 on Nov 29th focusing on TRANSFORMATION, followed by a party!

Dare to enter our little studio in the North of Amsterdam for an evening of the exceptional ideas, music and art. We showcase a program that will linger and provoke you, starting with an interesting person connected to Amsterdam Noord . Our program is curated through trails, in which each speaker invites their most interesting person to be the next speaker, and then they nominate the next and so forth… conjuring magic in the process.

Our first theme was on the topic of RESILIENCE. A freediver showed us how to do breathholds and she brought an art historian to roll wine leaves with us and talk about peace and then the next session was on INNOVATION and an artistic researcher discussed the trouble with tech solutions and she invited an acrobat who built a robot to practice with and during session #3 : AGILITY, the first clarinet player from the Concertgebouworchestra did live improvisation with an electronic music wizard who he had just met in this program and maybe…

…you should have been there!

Also, we have beer AND there will be dancing. Get your tickets fast for our fourth and final session of the year!

If you want to come to the MIP Studio Session first, buy tickets for the full program at 20 PM (€12,50) and if you want to join for the party later, you can get tickets for after 22:30.

PROGRAM:

Movement trail:
Tash Richards & Amber Boot

Tash Richards is one of the founders of Stretch and Fold in the North of Amsterdam. Her most interesting person is Amber who practises medicine and yoga and is studying to become a global health and tropical medicine physician. It is a surprise what they are planning, but expect a crossover and amazing blend of interactive exercises and intimate talks.

Music trail:
Papi Gaba & Runningman & Kee Priemus & Nikko Axzul
This month Papi Gaba has invited his most interesting musician which is Runningman who plays ‘a raw blend of deep, textured, percussive, UK-infuenced housegrooves combined with a touch of ADHD form his infectious style’ (his own words).

Runningman invited DJ and jazz guitarist Kee Priemus and she reached out to multi-disciplinary artist Nikko Axzul.

We don’t know what is going to happen and in what order, but we assure you that it is going to be a one of a kind evening!

Don’t wait too long to get tickets. We have limited space in the studio!
