Zé Celso leads us to multi media producer who tells her heroic story, Elaine Cesar.

Elaine Cesar lives in São Paulo and worked closely with Zé Celso. Cesar and her MIP Tadeu Jungle directed Evoé, a biopic film about Zé Celso’s flamboyant life and unorthodox career. The film discusses Brazil’s history, scenes from plays, backstage, crises, successes, fights, torture, sex, and drugs drugs.  Evoé, tells the story of contemporary Brazilian culture.

Cesar’s career has criss-crossed a vibrant range of multimedia projects, advertisement films, TV, documentaries and theatre. For example, she worked alongside writer Sarah Kane in producing 4,48 Psychose. She also has projects with Teatro Oficina focusing on scenography, and digital projects.

Tadeu Jungle, Cesar’s most interesting person lives, like all the MIPs of this trail, in São Paulo, Brazil. He began as a TV presenter and worked with various influential programs with his innovative and spontaneous approach to creativity in the visual media field. A well known director and TV personality, Jungle was best known for his program Fábrica do Som.
